The development of the Atlas Salt Mine may be an enormous economic and social generator for the Town of St. Georges. However, it is very important for the Town to be prepared for development, to meet the challenges that it will pose and to take full advantage of potential opportunities for residents and local businesses.
The town wishes to start a process to strategize on managing the expected growth of the town in a way that ensures challenges are met and opportunities are taken advantage of – all for the long-term benefit of the Town and its citizens.
