Rocky Harbour is an enclave within Gros Morne National Park. Our tourists are close to boat tours, hiking trails with spectacular views, a heated indoor swimming pool with hot tub, and cross-county ski trails in season.

The town of Rocky Harbour is located between two prominent landmarks – Salmon Point and Lobster Cove Head. Those landmarks are located at the northern entrance to beautiful Bonne Bay. The town gets its name from the reef of rocks at the entrance to the harbour.

The town consists of six major areas which spread all around the harbour.

Named for the vast number of lobsters.

Cove with a growth of timber.

Bears visited this area and caused havoc.

Located at the base of the harbour.

Very deep cove, great for anchoring large boats.

A local swimming hole favorite.
